IYF India is the main website and digital platform for the Islamic Youth Federation of India. I designed and developed it as an independent freelance engagement.
The platform carries the organization's public presence: pages about the organization and its departments, course listings, a digital library and reading material, published titles, and coverage of its conferences, events and activities.

- Designed the site and developed it end to end as the sole engineer
- Structured the navigation and content areas around the organization's own sections
- Built the responsive layouts for the public-facing pages
- Handled content that mixes Latin, Urdu and Bengali scripts within a single interface
Challenge
An organization site has to hold several different kinds of content — institutional pages, course and department listings, reading material, publications and event coverage — and present them so a visitor can find any one of them without effort.
- Presenting a broad content surface — organization, courses, departments, library, publications, media and events — under one coherent navigation
- Supporting multi-script content in one interface without the typography breaking down
Approach
- Built on Next.js with the App Router, using a component per content type so each section of the organization's material renders consistently.
- Let the organization's existing structure drive the information architecture rather than imposing a separate one.
Engineering
- Built the public site across its main areas — about, media, magazines, courses, departments and the digital library
- Used Next.js image optimization for the photography-heavy conference and event sections
- Implemented responsive layouts across the content pages
- Served imagery through Next.js image optimization, which delivers modern formats and appropriately sized files
Outcome
The platform is live at iyfindia.org and serves as the organization's main website.
